Be Safe Driving School in Lake Zurich, Illinois

About Our Lake Zurich Driving School

BE SAFE DRIVING SCHOOL MISSION STATEMENT

Train adult and teen drivers to be safe drivers through the use of education in the classroom, being a defensive driver with behind-the-wheel supervision, obeying traffic laws, traffic awareness and controlling the driver's own vehicle.

My name is Thorwald "Pete" Solverson, I am the owner and operator of the driving school. Be Safe Driving School has been open since June of 2012 and successfully filling classes monthly. I decided to go into teaching and instructing driving behind the wheel in 2010. Reason for the interest of opening a driving school is to work to prevent collisions, reduce injuries and saving lives with teaching teens and adults the proper driving skills. My statement everyday is "Be Safe Out There".

Working with teens has been a great experience for me. I have met great young adults and their parents with the feedback that they enjoyed the classes.

I was trained by a veteran police officer, Dennis Harper, from Geneva, Illinois. Dennis has three driving schools open in the southern suburbs. He helped me in understanding the rules of the road and defensive techniques not only from an instructor's point of view but also a police officer's view. I apply these techniques in all of my classes.
